Rates held steady Tuesday in light trading. This morning, the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey, or JOLTS, reported an unexpected increase in job openings last month to 6.16 million, well above the consensus forecast of 5.60 million. Results from today’s 3-year Treasury auction will be released at 1:00 PM.
