Rates were little changed Friday following today’s employment data as solid job gains were offset by a shortfall in wage growth. The economy added 222,000 jobs in June, well above the consensus forecast for an increase of 175,000. The Unemployment Rate rose to 4.4%, largely due to workers entering the labor force. Average Hourly Earnings increased 0.2%, a bit below expectations, and were 2.5% higher than one year ago. Stocks moved higher. No other key data will be released today.
