Rates were little changed Tuesday in quiet trading. This morning, March Consumer Confidence jumped to 125.6, well above the consensus forecast of 114.0. to the highest level since December 2000. The S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city home price index reported values were 5.9% higher in January than one year earlier. Results from today’s 5-year Treasury auction will be released at 1:00 PM.
