Rates held steady Thursday as today’s economic data came in close to expectations. Weekly Jobless Claims were unchanged at 276,000, a bit higher than forecast. The September Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey, or JOLTS, reported an increase in job openings to 5.53 million. Results from today’s 30-year Treasury auction will be released at 1:00 PM. Several Federal Reserve board members will be speaking today, including Fed Chairwoman Janet Yellen.
