Rates were little changed Thursday in quiet trading. Yesterday, mortgage rates hit 16-month lows as minutes from last month’s Fed meeting showed concern by several Board members for raising rates too quickly given the economic slowdown in Europe. This morning, weekly Jobless Claims came in at 287,000, slightly below forecast. Results from today’s 30-year Treasury auction will be released at 1:00 PM.
