Rates were little changed Tuesday on mixed economic data. This morning, the June Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 0.3%, matching expectations, and was 2.1% higher than one year ago. Core CPI, which excludes volatile food and energy components, increased 0.1%, a bit below forecast. Existing Home Sales rose by 2.6% to 5.04 million annual units, slightly better than expected. No other data will be released today.
