Rates were litle changed Wednesday as mortgage-backed securities held onto yesterday’s gains. In economic news, September Import Prices increased by 0.2%, in line with expectations. The Mortgage Bankers Association weekly purchase activity index rose 1.0%, while the refinance activity index declined 1.0%. Average reported conventional 30-year fixed rates fell to 4.39%, not including fees, the lowest level since June. No other key data will be released today.
