Rates were little changed Friday following the release of key employment data. The economy added 292,000 jobs in December, far above the consensus forecast of 200,000. Upward revisions to prior reports added another 50,000. Separately, the Unemployment Rate remained at 5.0%. Despite the impressive job gains, Average Hourly Earnings were flat, falling short of expectations. Stocks moved modestly higher. No other economic data will be released today.
